WATER FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The NSP Solar Pump provides the populations of remote, rural regions with access to water, which is essential for the development of a country.

Water is vital. It is not only necessary to maintain and develop the economy, but to enable existence in general. Water guarantees a healthier future!

WATER IS NEEDED:

To build the economy

With sufficient access to water it's possible to set up irrigation plants to cultivate fields. The cultivation of grain leads to a healthy and ample food supply, which promotes autonomy (self-supply) and also boosts the economy by means of commerce.

To build hospitals and provide health care

A sufficient drinking water supply naturally goes together with maintaining good health. Many diseases caused by consuming contaminated water can be stopped. Deficient hygiene can also be fought.

Furthermore, it becomes possible to establish a health care system, because only where there is enough water, can infrastructure be created.

To advance education

Education is an essential step towards a better future. Many children are, however, prevented from attending school. On the one hand, their families often lack the necessary financial means to send them to schools, and on the other hand particularly girls are expected to manage the family’s water supply during school time.

To achieve further development

Water is the resource which is required to lead people into a better future. When we pass on our know-how, the people can live on agriculture by means of livestock breeding, farming and pasturing whereby they learn to operate economically.

To maintain culture

Access to water is needed to prevent an exodus of the rural population and therefore to guarantee the survival of cultures.
